Philatelic,numismatic expo Aug 8

Puducherry,Aug 6(UNI)The Indo-French Philatelic and Numismatic Association here would organise a three-day exhibition of coins, stamps and currency notes from August eight in connection with its first anniversary.

Talking to newspersons here today, Association Secretary Jayachandran said the exhibition would also promote the hobby among students, youths and others and create awareness of history through coins.

Coins, stamps and currency notes depicting various themes and commerative coins issued by the Government of India will be on display besides coins and currencies during the French and Dutch Rule of Puducherry.

Stamp collectors from all parts of the country besides school children of Puducherry would participate.
