Guy Ritchie surprised by love for son David Banda

Washington, Aug 6 : Director Guy Ritchie never expected that he would love his adopted son David Banda so much.

The Snatch director and wife Madonna had adopted the Malawian boy after a 20-month long battle in Africa.

The 39-year-old director admits that he's himself stunned by the overwhelming love for adopted son.

"Fatherhood is unbelievable. It has taken over my life," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"But something else surprised me - how much you can love an adopted child, the same as you can love a biological child. I didn't anticipate that," he added.
