Four Bangladeshis held in Assam
Tezpur, Aug 6 (UNI) A day after five Bangladeshi infiltrators were arrested, another four were arrested from Assam's Sonitpur district today.
The illegal immigrants have been put on train to Mankachar to be pushed back to Bangladesh after the police arrested them on the basis of orders of the Foreigners' Tribunal.
Three of them were picked up from Harigaon area near Tezpur and one from Digholi Chapori near Jamuguri, police said.
Police informed that they had been living illegally in the state for almost 20 years.
