Former MP Mahendra Singh passes away

Khandwa, MP, Aug 6 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and former Khandwa MP Mahendra Kumar Singh passed away following a cardiac arrest here today.

Mr Singh, 58, is survived by wife, son and four daughters.

Mr Singh represented Khandwa seat in Parliament from 1990 to 1995. He had also served as Burhanpur Municipal Corporation Mayor.

He was associated with several social and educational institutions.

The last rites would be performed at Burhanpur.
