Eight shops gutted in fire; no casualty

Srinagar, Aug 6 (UNI) Eight shops were gutted in a devastating fire in a market in north Kashmir last night, official sources said today.

They said fire broke out due to stove burst at the main market in Baramulla district. However, before the fire could be controlled, the leaping flames engulfed eight shops, damaging property worth lakhs of rupees.

However, no one was injured.
