Bomb threat to Mahakaleshwar shrine

Ujjain, MP, Aug 6 (UNI) A Guna-resident youth has been arrested for threatening to blow up this ancient temple town's renowned Mahakaleshwar shrine, one of India's 12 jyotirlingas.

''Local youth Raja Meena was constantly receiving such calls on his cellphone last night. Meena alerted police and passed on the number. More police personnel were stationed in the temple area.

Investigation revealed that Guna's Pawan Dohre's SIM was being used by Sewak Ram alias Tillu Kushwah,'' Inspector-General M P Dwivedi told UNI here today.

Tillu was caught last night.

''Dohre works at Ahmedabad and the recent blasts there make the matter more sensitive,'' the officer said. A police team left from here to bring Tillu and was likely to return by late tonight.
