381 pilgrims leave base camp for Amarnath
Jammu, Aug 6 (UNI) A fresh batch comprising 381 pilgrims escorted by the security agencies left for Amarnath cave shrine this morning from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp here, official reports said.
As per the official reports, 381 pilgrims including 104 male, 25 females, three children and 249 sadhus left for the holy cave shrine situated in South Kashmir in 12 vehicles, including 8 buses and 4 light motor vehicles.
The yatra witnessed instant decline after protests rocked Jammu and Kashmir over the Amarnath land row.
The yatra was however, flagged off from the winter capital on June 17 and will conclude on August 16 (on full moon night).
