Sultry weather causes discomfort in Patna

Patna, Aug 05 (UNI) Sultry weather, prevailing in the city and its adjoining areas for the past few days, continued today, causing discomfort to the people.

The local Met office recorded the maximum temperature of the state capital for the past 24 hours at 34.6 degrees Celsius while the minimum was pegged at 27.8 degrees Celsius.

The weathermen predicted a generally cloudy sky in some parts of the state with no significant change in the mercury level during the next 24 hours.
