Pub serves customers a prayer with their pints!

London, Aug 5 : A pub in St Austell, Cornwall has started offering an informal worship to its customers along with their drink. The drinkers at the nineteenth century Seven Star Inn can now have their drink and take part in an informal worship on Sunday nights.

Reverend Patrick Bamber, who is the associate vicar of the town's Holy Trinity Church, is holding the services.

"It is a way of reaching out into the community with an informal service in a relaxed atmosphere," Daily Star quoted Bamber as saying.

Somehow this kind of worship seems to work as it attracted 40 customers, who enjoyed their drinks while listening to some Bible readings and live music, in last week's session.
