Polaris inks pact with American International Group

New Delhi, Aug 5: Polaris Software Lab Ltd on Tuesday, Aug 4 said it has signed a professional services agreement with American International Group (AIG) Global Services to provide software services to AIG and all its affiliates globally.

''Polaris will be providing IT services to AIG, the parent company and all its affiliated companies around the globe. In the connection with this transaction, Polaris has sold its minority interest in AIG Systems Solutions Pvt Ltd (AIGSS) to a subsidiary of AIGSS,'' AIGSS President David Grubman said in a statement. However, the size of the deal was not disclosed. In 2002, Polaris entered into an agreement to set up AIGSS, through which it had to route all its services to the AIG Group.
