Gwyneth Paltrow urges American ex-pats to vote for Obama
New York, Aug 5 : Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow threw her support behind Barack Obama, rooting for him in a Public Service Announcement, asking Americans living abroad to vote for him.
Paltrow, who resides in London with singer husband Chris Martin, appears in an ad with ex-patriots to stress the ease of voting from abroad.
"Start now - right now, I'll be voting from London, but you can vote from anywhere, If you live abroad, you've got to do it, every single vote will count," the New York Daily News quoted her, as saying.
"Where on earth will you vote? Vote Democrat. Vote Obama. Vote from abroad."
The video, which appears online, was produced by Democrats Abroad, an organization that encourages registered Democrats who live abroad to stay active in politics.
