Father kills infant son and daughter

Rohtak, Aug (UNI) A man allegedly strangulated his infant daughter and son in Ismaila village in Rohtak district yesterday.

According to police, accused Manjeet had strained relations with his wife Anita, who left for her parents' house at Dansa village following a verbal dual with her husband a few days ago.

On Monday morning, Manjeet took both of his children, three-year-old Manju and two-yer-old Amit to a nearby plot and allegedly strangulated them to death using a string and fled.

The Sampla police, on getting information, rushed to the spot and sent the bodies recovered from the plot for post mortem.

A forensic team also inspected the spot of crime.

The police has booked Manjeet and launched manhunt to nab him.
