Aban Offshore gets LoI for contract worth $30 mln

New Delhi, Aug 5 (UNI) Offshore and oilfield services firm Aban Offshore Ltd today said it has received Letter of Intent (LoI) for a contract worth 30 million dollars for drilling two wells and two optional well programmes.

The firm period of the contract, which is expected to commence following the delivery of the rig from the yard in the first quarter of 2009, is likely to last for 150 days, a company statement said.
