Two Nigerians arrested for sellings black dollars
New Delhi, Aug 4 (UNI) Police have arrested two Nigerians for duping a property dealer of several lakhs on promises of delivering dollars, from Basant Lok area of South Delhi.
The arrests of Nigerian nationals Ndubusi Ahaibuike and Godswill Udochukwa, both fabric traders, were made on the complaint of a property dealer whose help they sought in making investments in property, said the police.
Both were arrested from the Priya cinema complex on July 23.
They had duped complainant Ajay Thakran of nearly Rs 45 lakhs on the pretext of giving US dollars stashed in bundles of black papers which they called black dollars.
An electronic safe, two laptops, a bottle of chemical to turn black paper into dollars and some documents were seized from their possession.
