Punjab Governor mourns Naina Devi tragedy

Chandigarh, Aug 4 (UNI) The Punjab Governor Gen (retd) S F Rodrigues today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in yesterday's tragedy at Naina Devi Temple in Himachal Pradesh.

Gen Rodrigues has asked the Punjab State Red Cross Society to liaison with their counterpart in Himachal Pradesh and help in arrangements for carrying bodies of the victims of Punjab to their respective native places, along with giving necessary medical relief to the injured.

He also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families.
