One killed in house collapse in Jammu
Jammu, Aug 4 (UNI) One person was buried alive under the roof of his house that collapsed due to heavy rains in the Akhnoor area here in Jammu and Kashmir, sources said today.
The deceased, identified as Pawan Kumar, 28, son of Bishan Dass Bhagat, resident of Ward Number 7 Ram Tallia Mohalla in tehsil Akhnoor, died on the spot after the roof of his house cave in yesterday, sources added.
Police have taken cognizance in this connection.
