Haryana cancels Teej celebrations due to Naini Devi tragedy
Chandigarh, Aug 4 (UNI) The Haryana Government today cancelled Teej celebrations due to the tragic incident of stampede at Naina Devi shrine in Himachal Pradesh yesterday resulting in the death of more than 135 pilgrims including 32 hailing from the state, an official release today stated.
A state level function to celebrate "Teej" was scheduled at Haryana Raj Bhawan here.
