FIR against rapist doctor, held for interrogation

Lucknow, Aug 4 (UNI) An FIR was today registered against a doctor for outraging the modesty of his patient in Hassanganj area here.

As per the allegations of the girl's father, her 14-yr-old daughter was criminally assaulted by the medico at a private hospital, where she had approached last night following an illness.

The victim belongs to Nepal, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rahul Srivastava said.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested the accused and started interrogation, the cop added.
