Dozen vehicles of particular community damaged in Kashmir
Srinagar, Aug 4 (UNI) About a dozen vehicles belonging to a particular community were damaged in the valley, official sources said.
They said some miscreants damaged about a dozen trucks and other vehicles belonging to a particular community near the Gurdwara at Jawarhar Nagar early this morning.
A spokesman for the community said a group of miscreants damaged the wind screens of the vehicles with lathis and hockey sticks.
He said despite the fact that the vehicles belong to local Kashmiris, the miscreants damaged them.
However, he said, he cannot blame any particular party for this and appealed to Kashmiri leaders to identify and isolate these miscreants.
Several vehicles were also damaged in the court road area, official sources said.
They said this could be in retaliation for attack on Kashmiri drivers in Jammu.
