Ashram murder case: Accused boy sent to judicial custody

Narsinghpur, MP, Aug 4 (UNI) A juvenile court here has sent Rituraj Singh Dikhit, who was arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of two children at the Sant Asaram Gurukul Ashram in Chhindwara, to judicial custody up to August 13.

Police said Judge Sriram Mandve has directed to keep Rituraj (14), a class IX student, in child reformation centre.

Rituraj killed Ramkrishna Yadav (4) on July 29 and Vedant Manmode (5) on July 31. He took the two children to bathroom by luring them about chocolate.

Rituraj Singh Dikhit did not want to stay in the ashram. When he learnt that ashram in Ahmedabad closed after the death of two children, he hatched a plan to kill children.
