Abu Bakar Siddique appointed Chatra DC

Chatra, Aug 4 (UNI) Abu Bakar Siddique today joined as the new Deputy Commissioner of naxal-dominated Chatra district.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Siddique, a 2003 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service, said smooth implementation of welfare schemes would be his first priority.

Earlier, Deputy Development Commissioner Baburam Murmu was holding the charge after former DC Puja Singhal Purwar went on an offical training.
