Punjab CM condoles death of Naina Devi victims
Chandigarh, Aug 3 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic incident that occurred at the Naina Devi shrine in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh today in which 105 devotees died.
He directed the Rpar Deputy Commissioner to ensure the free treatment to the injured devotees being brought to the civil hospitals at Anandpur Sahib and Nangal and to coordinate with the Himachal Pradesh government on relief operations. The autopsy of the dead is being carried out at Anandpur Sahib.
Mr Badal also expressed his heart felt sympathies with the members of the bereaved families and prayed to the Almighty to give strength to bear this irreparable loss and grant peace to the departed souls.
