Planning Commission to review projects in Manipur

Imphal, Aug 3 (UNI) A five-member team of the Planning Commission, led by Senior Advisor Jayati Chandra arrived here today, for reviewing development work taken up in the state.

The delegation would be in Manipur till August 6 and inspect the project construction site at Chingmeirong, Kangla Fort and IMA market, a Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) officer said.

The team would interact with officials and review various works backed by the Planning Commission in the state, the source added.

The delegation will also visit other districts as well as Moreh, the town bordering Myanmar.
