Lindsay Lohan, Sam Ronson to tie the knot?

London, Aug 3 : American actress Lindsay Lohan and her British DJ girlfriend Sam Ronson have proved that they are very serious about each other, as the pair is planning to tie the knot soon.

The date for the wedding has not been set as yet, but it seems the couple will be exchanging vows at a private ceremony in LA later this year.

Lohan, 22, has been shopping for a white mini-dress for the occasion, and she has chosen a very bridal-looking one by Chanel, while Ronson, 30, joked that she'll wear a black groom-style suit complete with a top hat.

The two lovebirds are not the only ones who are happy about the union, as Lohan's mum Dina told pals that she wants to "welcome Sam into the family" with a lavish do, including drinks and canapes for Li-Lo's pals and relatives.

"Dina is still working on the date of the party but it's looking like towards the end of the year," News of the World quoted a source as saying.

"Lindsay's new album Spirit In The Dark is out in November, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's around then.

"They've been keeping the relationship quiet for months and trying to pass each other off as 'just good friends'.

"But they've decided it isn't a fling, it's for life- so they want to make their romance public," the source added.
