Eva Mendes hates wearing jeans and black clothes

Melbourne, Aug 3 : She must be a style freak, but there are two things that Eva Mendes won't be wearing during her special guest appearance at the 30 Days Of Fashion And Beauty event next month: jeans and too much black.

The actress said that she loves looking feminine and that's why would avoid jeans and black for the event.

"I love colour and try not to fall into the black trap, as I call it. I love to feel super-feminine. I love dresses and skirts and dislike jeans," The Daily Telegraph quoted her, as saying.

The 'We Own The Night' would arrive in Sydney on August 25 for a one-week visit and will attend the launch party on August 28.

The September event would be a celebration of style with record attempts, fashion shows, celebrity in-store appearances and red-carpet attractions that aims to bring the world of clothes and catwalks to the people as well as the industry.

Meanwhile, for Mendes, style doesn't come with too much of hard work, even when stepping out on the red carpet.

"I'm not sure how to describe my personal style. I just go with whatever I feel at the time. I don't premeditate my red carpet looks. I just go with the flow," she said.
