Election Manifesto Committee formed
Bhopal, Aug 3 (UNI) As a part of its preparation for upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls, main opposition Congress has constituted an 18-member 'Election Manifesto Committee', which would be headed by state Congress President Suresh Pachouri.
In a statement issued here, Congress General Secretary V Narayan Sami said Leader of Opposition Jamuna Devi, state election committee President Ajay Singh, former state party presidents Subhash Yadav and Radhakishan Malviya and former state Congress President Subhash Yadav are members of the committee.
Other members include Mr Sajjan Singh Verma, Ms Meenakshi Natrajan, Mr Sajjid Ali, Mr Lakshminarayan Yadav, Mr Rajwardhan Singh, Mr Bisahulal Singh, Mr J C Sharma, Mr Prakash Jain, Captain Jaipal Singh, Mahesh Joshi, Dr Alok Chansoria and Mr S S Thakur.
State Mahila Congress President Shobha Ojha, state Congress Seva Dal main convenor Yogesh Yadav, state Youth Congress President Jitu Patwari and state National Students Union of India President Rashmi Pawar are specially invited members.
