Chat-room freak gets two-year PC ASBO

London, Aug 2 : A chat room user has landed a computer ASBO (Anti Social Behaviour Order) for his shouting and screaming was driving neighbours out of their homes.

David Ellerton, 43, cannot log on after 10pm or before 8am because he shouts and screams at fellow net users.

Ellerton, an engineer, has been given a two-year asbo.

His ranting and raving first drove away a 70-year-old widow who had lived next door for 56 years, reports the Mirror.

Now, another couple living nearby are selling up, magistrates in Bishop Auckland, Co Durham heard.

The prosecution claimed Ellerton, from Ferryhill, was often drunk and upset when abusive on the net.

He then took it out on his neighbours who called police 16 times in six months.
