Youth rolls on ground for Pondy CM

Puducherry, Aug 2 (UNI) A local youth who had performed several feats to enter the Limca Book of World Records, today rolled on the ground from the Kamaraj Statue to the Indira Gandhi Statue, a distance of two km, to ensure the continuance of Mr N Rangasamy as the Chief Minister of Puducherry.

Jyothimurugan, who earlier conducted an opinion poll on whether Mr Rangasamy should continue as the Chief Minister, told newpsersons here the ''Angapradakshna'' (rolling on the ground as a sign of devotion) was also to thank the public who had voted in the Chief Minister's favour Rumours are afloat here that Mr Rangasamy may be removed from the Chief Minister's post following a ''tussle'' with his Ministers.
