Marwaris evolved business partnerships with locals
Bhilwara, Aug 2: Assam Governor Shiv Charan Mathur has dispelled a general belief about harassment of Marwaris in his bordering Northeastern state and said the community was comfortable and doing well there.
Mr
Mathur
said
there
was
a
wrong
belief
among
people
in
the
country
that
Marwaris
were
victims
of
harassment
in
the
hands
of
terrorists
or
locals.
Barring
exceptional
instances,
they
were
neither
being
harassed
nor
terrorised,
rather
they
were
all
comfortable
and
doing
good
business,
the
Governor
said.
''Rather they have evolved an effective modus operandi for themselves for doing assured business by forging business partnerships with locals,'' Mr Mathur pointed out.
