Human Rights Commission comes to rescue of former Forester

Chennai, Aug 2 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu State Human Rights Commission (TNSHRC) has recommended to the state Chief Secretary to direct all departments to give top priority for settling claims relating to retirement benefits.

The Chief Secretary should also make it clear that for the lapses by the departments, they would be held responsible for financial losses the government may sustain, the TNSHRC also directed.

It also directed that the state government should impress upon the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission(TNPSC) about the grave urgency of the matter and about the law laid down by the Supreme Court.
