BoR announces 1:5 bonus share, dividend of 5pc

Mumbai, Aug 2 (UNI) The Bank of Rajasthan has announced that it will issue a bonus share in the ratio of 1:5 and a dividend of five per cent to its share holders for the financial year 2007-08.

The shareholders of the bank would get one bonus share on every five shares besides the five percent dividend on each share, a BoR release said.

The board of directors approved the proposal in its 65th annual general meeting held today at Udaipur, BoR said.

The shareholders have also approved the re-appointment of P N Bhandari, Magh Raj Calla, K N Bhandari and Sunil Behari Mathur as Directors of the bank.

In addition, under fresh appointments, Nitin Narotamdas Goel, Dharinder Kumar Tayal and Salil Kapoor would also join the board of directors of the bank, subject to Reserve Bank approval, it added.
