1 dead, 1 missing and another injured in accident
Dehradun, Aug 2 (UNI) A man was killed and another seriously injured, while one went missing, when an LPG truck they were travelling in plunged into the Ganga river on the Srinagar-Pauri national highway in Devprayag this evening.
The accident occured when the truck carrying the three people fell into the Ganga river in Devprayag at 1830 hrs, while one person died on the spot, another was seriously injured, a PCR official told UNI.
The injured passenger had managed to jump before the truck fell into the river and was rushed to a local hospital, official added.
Meanwhile, rescue operation were on to recover the body of the third passenger.
