Spiderman 4 on its way

New York, Aug 1 : The makers of the Spiderman series are planning a third sequel to the film, wherein Spider-Man's arch-nemesis Venom might continue his dark rampage on the big screen.

Screenwriter Jacob Estes has been roped in to write the script for the sequel.

As for the star cast of the film, neither Sam Raimi nor Tobey Maguire have been signed for the sequel, although Sony has already announced the release of the film in 2011, reports New York Daily news.

It is also uncertain whether Actor Topher Grace, who played Eddie Brock, the jealous photo-journalist, will be seen in the sequel or not as his character met an untimely end in Spiderman 3.
