Lokmanya Tilak death anniversary observed in Goa

Panaji, Aug 1 (UNI) Chief Minister Digamber Kamat led the people of Goa in paying tributes to renowned freedom fighter Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak, who was also a journalist and founder of'' Kesari'' newspaper, on the occasion of his death anniversary at the Secretariat, Porvorim today.

The Chief Minister garlanded the leader's portrait and offered floral tributes. Minister for Transport Sudin Dhavlikar also paid rich tributes to the leader on the occasion.

Among others, who were present, included secretaries to government, collector of North Goa Mihir Vardhan and heads of government departments.
