India to host PATA Travel Mart 2008
New Delhi, Aug 1 : India is hosting the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Travel Mart to be held in Hyderabad from September 16 to 19.
Tourism and Culture Minister Ambika Soni will attend the inaugural function of the event.
The Mart is expected to be attended by approximately 1000 buyer and seller delegates from the world over.
The Travel Mart will be followed by the PATA Board of Directors Meeting from September 19 to 21.
The PATA Travel Mart is a prestigious tourism marketing event designed to bring international buyers from around the world and sellers from the Pacific Asia Region together, with the objective of increasing tourist arrivals to the region.
