Dr N P Singh awarded senior expert by UNIDO
New Delhi, Aug 1 (UNI) Solar energy expert, Dr N P Singh has been awarded a certificate by United Nations Industrial Development Organisation's (UNIDO) International Solar Energy Centre for Technology Promotion and Transfer, at a forum organised recently at Lanzhou, China.
About 41 countries, working in solar and wind power, participated in the forum.
Dr Singh has worked for several years in the field of Silicon solar cell research as also vacuum technology. He has co-authored the popular book titled 'Essentials of Solar Cell'.
The centre aims to integrate the application and popularisation of solar energy technology with global economic development and elimination of poverty in developing countries, an official release here said.
