BJP seeks probe into death at illegal mine
Panaji, Aug 1 (UNI) Goa BJP Opposition leader Manohar Parrikar today demanded a Crime Branch CID probe into the alleged death of a person due to collapse in an illegal mine at Quepem.
Talking to mediapersons here after bringing this to the notice of Chief Minister Digamber Kamat, he also sought a probe into the illegal mining activity in the area.
He said the man's body was burnt consequently after projecting the reason of his death as heart attack.
Meanwhile, Mr Parrikar also demanded another probe into the death of two persons suspectedly due to gas leakage at Reveno in a restaurant.
