Eight feared drowned in boat capsize incident

Lakhimpur Kheri, Aug 1: At least eight people were feared drowned after a boat capsized mid-stream in swollen river Gomti in Mohamdi area on Friday, August 1. The bodies of five people have been fished out, police confirmed.

The accident occurred at Semra ghat, where 25 people in total were aboard the boat. Meanwhile, efforts to recover the other three missing bodies were still on.
