SIMI activists back in Indore Jail
Indore, July 31 (UNI) Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) top leader Safdar Nagouri and three associates were brought back here last night after the Anti Terrorist Squad of Maharashtra Police conducted their Narco Analysis Test in connection with the 1993 Mumbai riots.
Madhya Pradesh Police is trying to get the narco test report as SIMI is suspected to be involved in the recent serial bomb blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
Nagouri and 12 others were arrested from their hideouts in Indore and nearby places few months back. Alongwith Nagouri his brother Kamruddin, Shivli and Adnan were also taken to Mumbai and the narco test were conducted on Nagouri and Kamruddin.
The SIMI leaders were also wanted by the police in Ujjan, Dhar, Bhopal and other places in connection with criminal offences.
