Council passes Karnataka Appropriation Bill

Bangalore, July 31 (UNI) The Karnataka Appropriation Bill 2008 authorising payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of Consolidated Fund of the State for the Services of the Financial year 2008-09 was passed in the Legislative Council today.

The Bill was passed in the Legislative Assembly yesterday.

The House also passed other bills including Karnataka Motor Vehicles Taxation (Amendment), Bill, Karnataka Stamp (Amendment) Bill, Karnataka Taxation Laws (Amendment) Bill and Karnataka Value Added Tax (Amendment) Bill.
