Congress' 'soft' policies responsible for terror attacks: BJP
Hyderabad, Jul 31 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Legislature Party leader G Kishan Reddy today said the 'soft' policies of the Congress towards Jehadi terrorists were responsible for the rise of terrorism in the country.
At a press conference here, he alleged that Hyderabad had been turned into a hub for terrorist activities and Hyderabadi link was there in every terror strike in different parts of the country.
Alleging that the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government at the Centre and the Congress government in Andhra Pradesh remained a 'mute spectator' to increasing terror strikes pursuing vote bank politics, he said the culprits behind the bomb blasts in the Mecca Masjid, Lumbini Park and Gokul Chat in Hyderabad had not been punished.
While the government was taking stern action against Naxalism, it was not showing the same alacrity while tackling terrorism, he added.
