Avril Lavigne hires only brunette dancers

New Delhi, July 31 : Singer Avril Lavigne has a strict policy - she only hires brunette back up dancers.

The 'I'm With You' singer insists on being the only blonde onstage, and so orders the blonde dancers to dye their hair dark, reports China Daily.

"I wanted my girls to look really punk rock with like black hair and that's pretty standard for everyone, like Madonna and Mariah Carey, if they're blonde you're not going to see another blonde on stage," the singer said.

"Everyone was brown, except one of my favourite girls was blonde so we were like, 'You have to have brown hair.' It wouldn't look right," Lavinge said.

Meanwhile, the singer, who celebrated her second wedding anniversary with husband Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 has no plans to have kids until she turns thirty.
