VAO killed by husband

Chennai, July 30 (UNI) A Village Administrative officer was stabbed to death by her husband at Keelkattalai, on the outskirts of the city, today.

Police said Manjula (34), who was working at the M Kuppam village office near Chengalpattu, was murdered by her husband Prakash, an employee of an insurance company, suspecting her fidelity.

Prakash picked up a quarrel with his wife when she received a call this morning and stabbed her with a knife, killing her on the spot.

However, he surrendered at the Madipakkam police station with the knife.
