Two dead in gang war, two miscreants killed in encounter

Banaras, Jul 30 (UNI) Three miscreants of Babu Yadav gang today attacked the vehicle of BSP Zila Panchayat member Dharmendra Singh, alias Pappu, killing his driver and security guard.

Two of the fleeing gang members were killed in police firing while another was injured.

Police sources told UNI that the incident took place in Singra police station area of Banaras.

The Zila Panchayat member was on his way to some place with his security guard and driver when the goons of the Babu Yadav gang started indiscriminate firing upon his vehicle. Both his driver and seciruty guard died on the spot.

The miscreants, who were fleeing after committing the crime were chased by some on duty police officers who gunned down two of them while another one was injured.

Police is investigating the incident.
