Security increased in HP industrial area

Shimla, July 30 (UNI) Security has been tighten in industrial area Baddi, Brotiwala and Nalagarh (BBN) of Solan district in the wake of serial blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad.

Solan SP S P S Verma said that additional police forces had been deployed in the industrial areas and security doubled around all big industrial units, hotels and other public places and police force had been increased at all five entry points and inspection of vehicles were being done.

Night patrolling have also been increased in industrial hub Baddi which house about 1075 industries unit, including 350 Pharma unit to avoid any untoward incident.

He said that due to booming-up of this township a proposal is under consideration to create police district at Baddi.
