Mah to recommend Annabhau Sathe for Bharat Ratna

Mumbai, Jul 30 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today said the state government will recommend Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe's name for Bharat Ratna Award, posthumously.

Mr Deshmukh gave this indication to a delegation led by Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe Sahitya Kala Pratishthan president Bheemrao Patole.

Mr Patole said a memorandum to this effect was earlier submitted to President Pratibha Patil.
