Diarrhoea claims 6 lives, toll at 20 in UP district

Sant Ravidasnagar, Jul 30 (UNI) Six more persons died due to diarrhoea in the last 24 hours in the district, taking the death count to 20 so far.

The infectious disease has hit around 60 per cent villages of the district due to excess rainfall, the Chief Medical Officer said.

Team of medicos have been deployed for providing treatement in the affected areas, he informed.

The fresh deaths were reported from Hardua, Prakashpur and Trilokpur villages.
