Charges framed against 17 people in Golu kidnapping case
Patna, Jul 30 (UNI) A fast track court here today framed charges against 17 people in the much-hyped Golu kidnapping case.
The charges were framed against them by fast track court judge Ajit Kumar Sinha under Sections 364 A and 120 B of the Indian Penal Code for kidnapping Golu for ransom.
According to charges, Gaurav, alias Golu, was kidnapped by the accused for ransom from Danapur police station area near here on September 20, 2005.
However, he was released by the accused on October 16, 2005 at Hajipur railway station due to continuous raids of police.
