Central Bank of India crosses 1,85,000cr business
Hyderabad, Jul 30: The Central Bank of India has crossed Rs 1,85,000 crore business, Bank's Zonal Manager V Sudhakar Rao has said. Addressing the Inter-Media Publicity Coordination Committee Meeting here last night, Mr Rao said of the Rs 1,85,000 crore business, Rs 1,12,000 crore was under deposits and Rs 73,000 crore under advances.
The Bank, which had more than 3,300 branches all over the country, had established 16 zones in the country for operational convenience, one of them being Hyderabad. Hyderabad Zone had jurisdiction in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka with a network of 204 branches, of which 130 were in Andhra Pradesh and 74 in Karnataka, a bank release here said.
