Blasts could not deter religious spirits of Kanwarias

Varanasi, Jul 30 (UNI) The serial blasts in several regions of the country could not deter the religious faith of Kanwarias, who are continuously swelling in numbers in this holy city.

Besides, no decline was seen in numbers of tourists especially foreigners, who are the common visitors at this religious city.

The month of Shravan is considered significant and a large number of devotees from all over the world congregate here every year.

Lakhs of Kanwarias had reached the holy city and the inflow was still continuing.

Apparantly the blasts had not lowered courage of tourists as the crowd visting the city is high as ever, area tourism officer Dinesh Kumar said today.
